In order to repair the arthritis in the big toe joint, we have been offering this method with the polyvinyl-alcohol-hydroge-hemiarthroplasty implant from Cartiva since 2006. In association with the European Foot Institute this procedure has proven to be a big success in maintaining the mobility of the big toe joint.
